help im 17 years of age and still waiting my midwives wont start me off i heard it is only ment to be 2wks over my due date but i am now 5wks over due, is this normal

Have they got your dates right? maybe your not as far into the pregnancy as you thought you were? However if this is the case you need to demand someone sees you ASAP either with your GP or someone at the hospital- it is dangerous for any woman to be left so long overdue. x

i cannot believe that, have they not been out to see you at home? did you have a membrane sweep at all? surely your body would have gone into labour by now anyway :S thats really bad of them i sure hope it all turned out okay for you and your little one xx

im not pregant yet, but ive watched the baby programs and read all the mags that come out monthly, and i know that defo isnt right, i carnt understand your midwifes at all

that def dont sound right normally they wont let you go more than 10/11 day over uoy due date i would recommend that you go 2 the maternity unit at your hospital and speak to someone there

Hi i think you go and see the doctor or go to the hospital and refuse to leave until someone sees you. make sure that you are seen because its really risky to leave you this long.

hi i dont think that sounds right at all the placenta stops working aswell after about 2 weeks late i really think you need to insist they do something i dont think i have ever heard someone going 5 weeks over! i was 17 when i had my first and they do mess you about abit cause they think you will just take what they say to you but i would go in asap and demand they do something
