hi there.. i was wondering how active a person you are in asnwer to your post as i noticed with my second and third pregnancys that as i awaited kicks around 15-18 weeks i didnt feel them very often if at all- this was due to the fact that i was working full time as a healthcare assistant and was constantly on the move. I finally got to feel an inkiling of movement around 21 weeks- which is sometimes the norm for first time babies but just put it down to the fact that because i was so busy in my job, i didnt feel anything really untill baby started to get a bit bigger!!.. what i think i would do is book in with your midwife or GP (they wont think any less of you if you want reassurance- and dont feel bad thinking your wasting their time- your not, you need peace of mind) and see if you can have a scan done- it may will be that baby is further in your back so-to-speak rather than lay on the front of your stomach - this does happen with pregnancies from time to time and may have an effect on how soon you get to feel those first time knocks and bumps.Hope this helps xxxxxxxxxx
im 18wk pregnant wiv my second an was told that ur 2nd moves quicker between 16 an 18 wk is it strange that the babys not kicked yet or am i just worryin 4 nowt?
