This is my third pregnancy. I went to see the midwife yesterday and she told me my baby is back to back with me. She gave me some positions to try to get the baby to move but my babies head has engaged. Does that not mean the baby cant move back round now? What does that mean for the delivery? I am so worried now. Has anyone else deliverd normaly this way or does it mean being cut and forceps?
2 of my 4 babies were in this position and i had normal deliverys all it means is it may take alittle longer to push baby out but i did with no tearing grazes or any bruising it just took longer and felt more painful if thats possible try not to worry it really isnt a probleman deven with head engaged it can still rotate around to being tummy to back
Hi. I gave birth to my first child in June, and was told she was tummy to back. After pushing for over an hour I was told she was actually back to back and hadn't tucked her head down and so I had to have an assisted delivery with ventouse and an episiotomy. I just wanted to say that even if you do have an assisted delivery, it is nowhere near as bad or scary as you think it will be, just keep an ice pack handy to sit on for the first few days and you'll be fine!
Hiya i had back labour with my second child, and its nothing to worry about ,the only thing that was different to me first giving birth is that it hurts more and sorry to be rude but i will be honest ,the baby also feels as though its gonna come outta your bottom lol.
And just to let you know i didnt have no stitches ,no grazing or anything exept bruising and no help from anyone lol.
GOOD LUCK!
hiya my son was 10 weeks early and was born back to back. they didnt know till his head was nearly out. i delivered naturaly and was fine and so was my son. well apart from being premature lol xx
