My little girl has gone of lumpy food altogether couple of weeks ago. She used to have no trouble with lumps but now the tiniest lump will be spat out and then she gets upset and refuses to eat. She will how ever eat any sort of a finger food. She got increasingly fussy with food when she went on a formula milk 6weeks ago. After that her favourites are not favourites any more and she seems so suspicious what ever food I'm offering. I just don't want her to learn that refusing proper food will get her her favourites bread and cheese on the table. She has 6 teeth already that came out months ago. Don't think she is teething as she has no trouble with chewing her fingerfoods and she's not showing any familiar signs. She has about 800mls of milk a day. I'm not conserned about her not eating as surely she will starve herself for too long. I just need a bit of advise what to do with the lumps. Should I just stay tough that refusing lumpy food will get her nothing else until she is so hungy that she will eat it or will this just get her more and more against lumps? (this will take more than a day as i've already tried it but gave in in the evening to get her to bed with full belly) I just don't want her to grow up to be picky and fussy eater and a second child on the way I won't have the time to spend half a day feeding her. And it drives me up the walls sometimes when all the food goes to the bin and then she is cranky because she is hungry. It doesn't make any sense to me. Or is she just trying her ability to say no?
