Hi,I know what you are talking about,I had a placental abruption end of jyly this year, unfortunatelly it was too late and I lost my little boy at 34+2weeks. I didnt know what happened I started having really bad tommy pains and mi and huby went to hospital. They discovered the baby has died and that I have had a hidden apruption without any bleeding. This was my first pregnancy, all was fine, no problem until then. We are still in shock, cant beleve what has happened, one day all was fine, the next the baby was gone. I lost lots of blood and almost ended up having a hysterectomy. We are still waiting for the results from hospital. You are lucky the baby was fine, take care and good luck.
hi can anyone help, i have 3 lovely children and in a year or 2 would like to try for another, the thing is i had a placenta abruption with my youngest it was scary when it happend and we were both so worried, will it happen again?? will the medical team i.e midwives or doctors intervene?? last time i was told i was too far into labour for them to do anything but monitor me because being my 3 rd baby and t abruption makes labor go faster, it didnt help that i was not looked after in hospital and i was just left after the doctor went and almost forgot about, i wont be going to the hospital again but would other hospitals treat me the same, does anyone know the procedure for placenta abruptions? and wat causes them?? ooo a lot of questions i know sory bout that lol
