I've been going through alot of stress and therefore cannot remember exactly when my last period was, but I'm almost sure it was only 3and a half weeks ago. I have found out I am pregnant, and the doctor has said I will be around 4 weeks pregnant.
I'm confused how i can be around 4 weeks pregnant when I had my period around 3 and half weeks ago.
The only thing I can think is that the what I thought was a period was infact inplantation bleeding?
This happened last time I fell pregnant, I had my period on the 17th of the month, when in fact it turned out I had gotten pregnant on around the 14th.
I'm sorry if I sound naive and a bit dumb here, but could someone please explain this all to me?

They count from first day of last period so you gain about 2 weeks. I was in the same boat when I went the docs.
So I am 4 weeks pregnant or simply just 2?
