my eldest walked at 9.5 months and also looked to small- bless! yes they grow very quick- it's like blink and you missed something! but it must mean we are doing a great job! they are healthy, happy and thriving, learning new things all the time and confident in their surroundings- they will always be our babies though- my eldest is 6 now and though she gets embarrassed when i kiss her before she goes into school goes 'urgh mummy' and tries to wipe it off- she still comes to me in the evening for stories and won't let me leave the room without a big hug and kiss, so they still need the cuddles- even when they won't admit it!
I know what you mean. my daughter turned one last month. she walks, talks (has trouble pronoucing words but you know what she's saying) and is very opinionated about what she eats, wears and wants to do. she is so tall for her age though and people think she must be aleast 1 and a half! don't matter she will always be my baby and right now will come to only me for cuddles.
hi i totally agree with you. my little girl, she started walking at 10 and half months. shes 15 months now and is starting to say her first words . (although she dnt pronounce thm fully) it only seems like yesterday i was taking her home for the first time, its amazing how she has learnt so much already!
does anyone else think that our children are developing too quickly now and are not babies for long enough, my baby daughter started walking last week at 33 weeks she looks strange lol too tiny she only weighs 12lb
