i feel for you! we also have a one-bedroomed bungalow, and share the bedroom with our 11-month old - and have a second one due in november!. (luckily, we are finally moving soon - phew!). someone suggested we build a sort of bunk bed arrangement - double at the top for you & your partner, and then put the cot underneath - but our ceiling isn't high enough. i've also heard of a couple who bought themselves a sofa bed so they could sleep in the lounge and the baby had the bedroom to himself.

Hi, you didn't say how old your first baby is? If he is a a toddler or nearly, you could maybe consider an inflatable ready bed for him? They are just like an airbed/mattress to pop down on the floor, like camping out. But only if he is old enough? My son who is two years old has used one, and he used from when he was one and a half, although he only used it when we stayed over with friends. But they don't take up a lot of space as they are toddler beds and you can get ones with Thomas the Tank Engine and Roary the Racing Car etc and for girls too. and you can just pick it up and put it on your own bed during the day perhaps? That way the new baby could have the cot?

Hi is there anyone else who's baby is sleeping with you in bed? we have a one bedroomed flat & probably staying in until we get our mortgage paid off in 2 years & then buy a bigger property. To add to lack of space baby no 2 is arriving in december!Any ideas for space savers!! Nikki
