anyone know about the bottles situation?

hi i read in a magazine last week that some bottles contain a chemical called BPA which is found in the teats, and when you heat them during sterilisation it releases a tiny bit of the chemical which is potentially harmful. But the health regulators (or whoever) have said baby bottles are perfectly safe. Though some companies have now produced BPA -free bottles with Avent due to release theirs late this year. I wondered if anyone knew if these new bottles are out yet or could you recommend one? We used Avent last 3 times and it's a brand i've grown to trust,but if I have to buy a different one I will! any suggestions? due in 2.5 weeks- this is one thing i thought i already had sorted!
