I know hv said to ignore whats on the sma tins, its not exact for every child.
how much food are they eating at each meal? maybe if you increase that? I reckon if your twins are looking for the milk they need it. maybe speak to your hv
my nearly 8 month old has 5 bottles and 3 feeds, 2 bottles 250mls 1 bottle 150 mls and 2 bottles 180mls. he hasnt gotten into the water thing yet.
for their meals they usually have a 200g jar of food plus a 150g of dessert which usually keeps them going for 2-3 hours and with their meals they usually have juice or water about 3 or 4 oz. i was just a bit concerned as didnt want them to get overweight but will go to HV to have a chat. x
hi, i have 8 month old twin boys. they are on 6 6oz feeds of milk throughout the day aswell as 3 meals!! is this too much? i have tried just givin them their mornin mil with breakfast but an hour later they want more milk. i have also tried this with dinner but with a 2-3 hour gap which is do-able. i am pretty concerned as on milk tins it says they should be on 3 milk feeds throughout the day at their age. any advice would be great thank you x
