Advice please

Hi. I usually have a 28 day cycle and was due my next period next Saturday. The last week or so I have started to experience a few symptoms of early pregnancy, actually feeling like I did when I was pregnant with my first child a long time ago - mainly very sore boobs and nipples, mood swings and slight nausea (although only slight). I had actually begun to think I was pregnant, however I have had what I would describe as a very light period today 4 days early (my periods are usually what I would call medium / heavy and very regular). When it first came this morning I just thought it was my ordinary period starting but now it's stopped and so I'm confused. My boobs still feel very sore and I still feel slightly sick. Is there a possibility that I may still be pregnant or is my body playing tricks on me? Also, if there is still a possibility when would be the best time to do a test - now or when my period should have been due? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

get out those ovulation sticks in a week or so and start to test your urine, so that you can know your most fertile days and this takes a lot of the stress and wondering if the time is right. this will take the pressure of the hubby as i know it stared to have an effect on mine. Enjoy the reflexology and let me know what it is like!!! I always fancied it but never got round to doing anything about it. x
Thanks judith. I've got some sticks for next try round. Also, I'm looking forward to the reflexology for that bit of extra relaxation - I've had it before a few years ago and it was wonderful so now would be the right time to have it again I think - any excuse to relax!

Hi, unfortunately it was a false alarm and turned in to a proper period, took me by surprise though as it was so early and began a lot lighter than usual. Anyhow, I'm not too disappointed as we've only just started ttc and I don't expect things to happen quickly - fingers crossed for next month!

have you done the test???? that light period is what i had last time when pregnant. When i spoke to the nurse at mt doctors surgery that was the first question she asked me. Like the other person i used the first response tests and found them to be 100% reliable. Good luck and let me know!!!! I have got everything crossed for you XXXX

Hiya - you can do a pregnancy test called 'First response' wich picks up the pregnancy hormones early, id suggest going for this, you can get them in most chemists. The light bleeding could be 'implantation bleeding' where the embryo attaches to your womb and causes a light bleed in some women. Good luck!

Hey! The day before I found out I was pregnant I had some light bleeding and then again afterwards, it could be implantation bleeding or if you have had any sexual activity it could be bleeding following that as that was when I got mine, the mw said it was all the blood vessels around the cervix. Maybe try a test and good luck, I hope you get what you are looking for!
