Hi,

The signs and symptoms of pregnancy vary from pregnancy to pregnancy and woman to woman, indeed some women do not get any symptoms at all and don't realise they're pregnant.

The fact that you have had 3 healthy pregnancies before should offer you reassurance as your body knows what it is doing.

Hi, I am 8 weeks pregnant with my fourth baby. My 3 previous pregnancies were all boys and I suffered from hyperemesis from 4 weeks till I gave birth.
I haven't been sick once yet and am really worried the baby might have died or I'm not pregnant!! I have done countless tests just to check I am still pregnant!!
I know all pregnancies are different, but I feel so well I cant believe it!
My scan is in 2 weeks time and I have no medical reason for it to be brought forward, but would love some reassurance that this is normal for me?

Hi Soniya,
I am afraid i am not really familiar with the drug you mentioned.
All drugs in pregnancy carry some risk of side effects, that is why we very rarely use them.
I would make an appointment to see your GP/Gynaecologists to discuss the matter further.

I am Soniya took infertility treatment since last 6 months.Yesterday I checked my urine and it shows positive pregnancy.But the problem is I have bleeding since last 7 days.So I thought it is my menestrual cycle and I took Tab Letoval on the " nd day of my bleeding. Yesterday only I came to know I am pregnant. Is there any side effects for this medicine? Is any side effect for my child . LMP-17-10-09 and bleeding started again on 13-11-09

Hi,
Sometimes it is not possible to complete the 20 week scan in one go for a variety of reasons and arrangements are made for the mother to be scanned again.

During your 20 week scan many things are checked.

The kidneys will be checked to ensure that they are there, there is two and that they are working properly. As is the nature of the urinary tract, it has to fill up before it can empty and this may well be what the sonographer was waiting for. If it did not occur during your scan then you will be asked to go back for it to be checked again.

The placental site is checked because if it is covering the neck of the womb then that does have implications for delivery. However placentas do move as the womb grows with the baby and this will be checked again nearer your due date.

hi im 29 wks pregnant and im experiencing like a bubbling sensation which starts at my lower adomine then goes into my vagina what is it??

i went for my 20 week scan and i have to go back to make sure my babys kidneys are draining properly cause they were to full and to check my placenta is not blocking my birth cannal is that somthing to be worried about please help im so worred ?
