Hi my baby is now 8 months old and has kind of gone off food off the spoon, well savoury stuff!!!!. he does like finger food, cheese on toast, Ive looked at loads of books and websites and cant really find anything that I could spread on toast. has anyone tried anything?

Mine loves this:
Make a cheese sandwich is the usual way then dip both sides in egg.
Fry lightly in a little butter until golden.
Allow to cool then cut into fingers.

Marmite - my little one loves it - he is 14 months now but can't remember when I stated him on it - sure it'll be fine tho! Jam is another one to try
