hi, i used to work in a nursery. Did you fill in a consent form stating how much and when to give the medicine as this is compulsory. If theyd followed that then they shouldnt have given her too much and obvioulsly incompetent staff. you can report it to ofsed- www.ofsted.co.uk, tho will investigate.
did they tell you when picked her up or phone you. If you had to take her doctors then that would be on her records so you can show this to ofsted. they might be able to advise you on taking further action against the nursery.
Yes, i did fill in form stating ltime of last dose given, which was 7am, it wasn't till l got home and checked her sheet, it said meds given at 8.30am.
The next morning, l asked to check the meds form and there it was in black and white, so she obviously hadn't checked the time of last dose.
Then one smat alec made a joke about staff trying to overdose my baby! l was not happy !!

You're kidding!!! Jesus... im not sure what advice i can give but im sure if you called citizens advice or popped in they would tell you. They will get inspected and critised and you may even be able to get some compensation too. I hope she is ok :) x
Staff at my baby's nursery overdosed her on calpol and tixylix !!!
She is leaving the nursery but feel l want to take it further, does anyone have any advice please ?
