Hi everyone, I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant & i'm not completely sure that i've felt my baby move yet & also my friend borrowed me a fetal heart monitor to listen to the baby's heartbeat as i've not yet heard it & i've used it several times today but can't manage to find a heartbeat which now is really starting to worry me as my next check up or scan isn't for another 2 weeks... I'm so frightened that something is wrong, what should i do???

so pleased you had your mind put to rest, and delighted the baby's heart beat is nice and strong! nothing beats that feeling of relief does it? might have been a fault with the monitor or like they say might just be tricky to use, my consultant took a few minutes to find it the other day and i'm 38 weeks!! it is very natural to worry- hate to tell you but it doesn't stop when the pregnancy is over and baby is born- you just develop different worries! best of luck and you did the right thing getting it sorted now you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy more! all the best x

I think i was just worrying a little bit cos i had a bleed about 7 weeks ago after my midwife & doctor kept telling me that i was ok which in fact i wasn't ok really but eventually i got a scan & everything was ok but it was hard work getting anyone to listen to me at first x
