Our hospital is the same here in Aberdeen, they won't tell you at your 20 week scan what you are having. We have booked to have a 4D scan done when i am 26 weeks (4th Dec) and we are going to find out what we are having then as well. I got my tarot cards read in March, before I was pregnant and the lady said I would be having a baby boy when i fell pregnant soon, so it will be interesting to see if she is right.
Good luck with the birth Littlemissk. x
ah thats lovely i love stuff like that where you can see wether their wrong in the readings!
thanks to you all i feel better now ha ha after all the worries mind you i'd probably get dead excited and run out buying frilly dresses if it comes out to be a girl.
now just the worries of everything else!
:-]
my hospital wont tell you the sex- I heard someone successfully sued them because although baby was healthy the hospital got the sex wrong. shame on them! they should count their blessings baby was safe and healthy.

I hfound out the sex of my last 2 children and they were boys (I have 3 boys). To be quite honest it was fairly obvious when we were looking a the scan that they were boys. The scan lady said to us it is easier to identify boys than giels and if they do get it wrong it is always when they say it is a girl and it turns out to be a boy. It doens't happen that often though.

we were told at scan this is a girl again (no 4) and obviously we are delighted as we were more concerned that baby was ok- yet she never sounded convinced and kept saying 'i think that looks like a girl! she also said there is a 5% chance she is wrong! so not a huge margin for error, but it has been known to happen, some hospitals won't even tell you in case they are wrong! my cousin in ireland said there is even a notice on the wall telling you not to ask as it is policy not to tell you! we were trying to keep things neutral just in case but my mum has bought pink blankets and went and bought 3 dresses last week! not too worried it probably is a girl i even bought a pink gro-bag and two little hats today!
A friend of mine was told she was having a girl and had a boy instead but was chuffed coz she had wanted a boy to begin with. don't think it happens very often but I spose there's no 100% gurantee. good luck with the birth btw and fingers crossed all the baby blue stuff you've got don't go to waste!
I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and just adding the final touches to everything and have bought everything i need, yet at my 20 weeks scan i got told i was having a little boy...so obviously everything is baby blue and i have millions of clothes coz i'm too excited!
yet i keep hearing all these stories bout people who did the same as me then ended up having a girl!
obviously i'd be chuffed aslong as their healthy but how much money ive spent on clothes it will just be a waste of so much money that i didnt have to waste!
has anybody had it happen to them?
