Always a pleasure to help :) That feeling you get is the exact time, and mine hurts not sure about everyones lol! You get 24 hours to fertilise the egg before she tootles off for another month. I use that pain to pinpoint my ovulation, its the bets warning system ever! ha ha. Plus sex seems to be better as you are (sorry if tmi) very wet and its easier. I think its best not to get hung up on it or you end up like me ha ha xx
Hiya carla. When you ovulate, your cervical fluid (aka your "wetness") is very slippery. This is leading upto ovulation, normally 48hours before. I am unsure about nausea, never experienced it myself. However, the cramping (that is normally just one side) is the exact time you are ovulating as it is when the egg is bursting out the follicle thingy wotsit. (cant you tell im not a professional!!) I hope that helps :) A book I always talk about is "Taking Charge Of Your Fertility"" by Toni Weschler, is well worth the money & expalins everythign too you - how to chart your BBT, how to chart your cervical fluid etc. Its onyl about £11 too which is a bargain! I never knew I knew so little about my body! Good Luck xx
Ah - well that explains it better thank you. That means my egg popped out last night, I thought as much. I managed to grab my hubby and then hang upside down for sometime later so fingers crossed. I'm trying not to get hung up on ovulation sticks and temps etc (although I do appreciate your advice), I tend to just try to go with how my body feels if that makes sense, I've had a session of reflexology to relax and have weekly sessions booked in, and we're having very frequent sex. This is only our second cycle of trying so I'm not worrying yet, just enjoying it! Thanks for the advice as usual x

Hi - this may seem like a dumb question. Each month since being a teen I've always known when I am ovulating due to the mid cycle pains. However, now that I've started trying to get pregnant I've been wondering - is the most painful phase, which for me involves cramps, slight nausea and wetness lasting a few hours - the day when the egg is released or the build up to it with the egg being released in the days after? Hope that makes sense - thank you.
