Think im pregnant again and still on maternity! help

Theres 15 months and 10 days between my babies and i thought it would be hell. Its not though and we cope xx

good idea about joining a union they will keep you right with the legal bits and what you are entitled to. think your employer should appreciate your honesty, this happens far more than you think- loads of people have their babies close together, i am about to have 4th baby in 7 years, with this being an almost 3 year (and the biggest) gap, mine are all girls and play great together, they get on so well- it is hard when they are little as you don't get much time to rest or for yourself- but they are so worth it! just relax and enjoy your baby x congratulations!

Hiya, It should be ok as long as you are back at work during weeks 17 - 26 (you might want to double check this)you will qualify for SSP. Otherwise you can get maternity allowance

Hi I wouldnt worry about it, my fiancees sister going back 18 years ago had a girl on March the 4th then the following January the 4th She had a boy. They are exactly 9 months to the day apart, As far as I'm aware her work was fine about it, and the two kids now 17 and 18 get on fine and are really close.

hi, a friend of mine was also in the same boat altho there are only 11months between her two!! she went back to work when her first maternity finished but then obviously was ont there long before she had to go on maternity leave again,
i think it depends on ur employers hers were really nice about it, and aroung the time that she was on maternity leave they had redubdancies she was convinced that they were going to let her go but they didnt!!
i think as long as u are open with them then it should be fine!!
i think it will b nice to have them close together as that way they will grow up close and be at school the same time etc... good luck huni hope evrythin goes well xxxx

Hi, I had the same issue more or less, my baby was six months old and I had just returned to work for about two weeks when I found out I was pregnant again. It was not easy telling my manager but it is not as though you planned it or did it deliberately. I still got the full amount of maternity pay and leave with my second baby. You are still legally entitled to your full maternity rights for your second baby even if you are still on maternity leave for your first baby. They can't sack you or punish you financially for it. If you are not in a union, join one because they will stick up for your rights if your employer messes you around. Good luck!

Oh and having two close together like that is good because my two play together and laugh together, there is 14 months in between them. :-) They are 2yrs 3 mths and 1 yrs old now.

i'd test again in a few days just to be sure, but if your any later than 2 weeks pop to see your doctor. not sure how to go about it with work etc if you are tho. i'd have thought that you'd go back to work as you were planning, but then leave again after 7 months or so for your next maternity leave. best of luck hunni x

Hello Im worried im pregnant again and i havent even gone back to work yet because im still on maternity leave with my first child and she only 7 months old!! Help I dont know what to do? I have done pregnancy test but there negative but im a week late! every since i had my little girl i have been every 27 days!
