Freezing cold mummy

Sorry for the slightly silly question...but my bus didn't show tonight and I was stood in the freezing cold (it's very cold up north today!) for about half an hour waiting for next bus. I was shivering and got that 'down to the core' cold feeling. I was nearly crying!! Worring about my 20 week baby in my tummy - just wondered what happens to them when mum's are that cold? Do they get cold? Can it harm them? Or do they just steal all the heat?!! xx
