Hey there, I absolutely love my Silver Cross, but I found the 3d one a little too low down. I have the sleepover set with the classic chassis and my car seat also silver cross fits onto the wheels. It also comes with a wooden rocker which turns it into a moses basket which is good if you are going to be travelling! Have you been to a pram shop or mothercare and asked them for a test drive? Also if your partner goes with you too, so he can have a wee go at pushing the pram too when he is giving you a well earned break after baby is here!! Hope your research goes well!! x
hiya, used to work at babies r us and my advice would be go to mothercare/mamas and papas etc and try out loads and loads and think about when you would use the pram most- walking everywhere, public transport or car? if you drive everywhere travel system is great especially if you have in-car base for carseat so you can just slot carseat in without having to fiddle around with seatbelts evrytime you use the car, but bear in mind baby should ideally spend no longer than hour and half-2 hours in the carseat at any one time (not good for their backs). also think bout size of your boot- if you have a small boot then massive tank like pushchair not great idea (silvercross 3d folds up fairly small- raincover is apparently a nightmare though) if you use public transport alot then something compact is best (mclaren, bugaboo bee). if you walk everywhere 3 wheelers are great coz their wheels are bigger and tend to last longer than piddly little silvercross ones. don't be afraid to badger the staff- that's what they there for and you will be spending hundreds of £s buying a pram! have fun choosing! x x

hi everyone! I'm 20 weeks pg and just starting to have a look around for prams etc - I like two - the silvercross 3D and the mamas and papas 8-in-1. The M&P is a travel system where the carseat clicks into the wheels (pricey though!) - does anyone recommend getting something like or is it a function not really used? The silvercross is much cheaper and I really love it but the carseat doesn't fit the wheels if you get what I mean. Anyone got any advice? Thanks in advance xxx
I had the old version of it for my first daughter 4 years ago. I like the new version with all the different options and it's lovely to have a carrycot and to be able to put the car seat straight on the wheels but I just found it really bulky and ended up buying a maclaren XT. Have you looked at the M&P pramette?? I'm pretty sure the car seat fits on to it and it's not too bulky so should see you through.
