Hi ladies! I can feel my baby moving and kicking lots which is lovely (i'm 21 weeks) but they are all really low down(about 3 fingers below belly button). Is this normal/ weird or just due to where baby is? I've not felt anything up high yet! I'm hoping it's because of his position and he's got really strong legs, and is going to be a rich footballer and look after his mummy - hehe! :) xx

i had that at the beginning when i first started to feel kicks i would only feel them low down on my left hand side
My li'l bundle of fun likes to wake me up early in the morning and to make sure i know it's there late in the evening! i'm really hoping this isn't the pattern it's gonna stick to once born!!
Brilliant feeling tho! Love the reference to it feeling like a lava lamp. We'v etaken to called it dave at the mo cos we dont know what sex it is, i'm 27 weeks and can't wait to see the hands and feet sticking out. My poor hubby sits for ages trying to feel the kicks but i'm sure dave is playing games cos as soon as daddy is gone baby starts doing the can can!!!

Thanks for all your replies! It is still low down and yes, feels like bubbling - like there's a lava lamp inside me! I will look forward to getting kicked in the bladder and his head pushing on my lungs - babies are so inconsiderate!! xx (Love them really :))

lol mine's started doing that and it's soo uncomfy!!
i'm 27weeks now and it was quite a while before i started feeling kicks high up .. used to feel them low all the time as well
i have triplets and i felt like i was being murdered from bout 15 weeks lol i felt alot far down and then when one turned i felt it up at top! i think when they havent gone head down the kick and you feel it low down then when they engage when they kick you feel it at the top lol
Just wanted to add that im 20 weeks and my babies kicks are very low down too, feels different to last time.
I SPENT MOST OF THE TIME LAUGHING WHILST WATCHING MY STOMACH MOVING IT WAS HILARIOUS MY HUBBY THOUGHT I WAS MAD!!
