GUIDE TO : LABOUR AND BIRTH
Guide To : Labour and Birth
When you first found out you were pregnant, the enormity of the task ahead probably seemed unreal, but suddenly you're counting the days to your due date, and allowing yourself a peek in the baby clothes section. But there is one last hurdle to go; the baby has to come out. One of the top worries for most pregnant women is the labour and birth of their baby. As a mum-to-be you will be 'treated' to birthing horror stories or overbearing advice from other mums. The trick here is to remember that each baby’s birth is completely different from the next, so take the advice you are given, but ultimately the birth of your baby is up to you. One thing is for sure, the more relaxed and calm you are and the more you understand what is happening to your body, the easier the birth will be.
