A real surprise then! We were trying 3 mths for this one and the month I conceived I thought I hadn't ovulated so my BFP was amazing too! Is it your first?
This will be our second and final child. We've been trying since New Year. We conceived in the first month with our son so I had started to get a little impatient so very pleased we haven't been left waiting like some people. I'm feeling really sick and have a bad stomach tonight, hopefully it's just the shock and not morning sickness!

Thank you! I bled for 14 days last month and hadn't detected ovulation since so i'd written this month off! x

I kept it secret for 2 days. Nearly killed me! I ordered a card off and changed the front to say congratulations... You're going to be a daddy again, then put my due month inside. Was an ace way to tell him, the card comes from guernsey and he spent ages trying to work out what it was before he opened it! Plus it's something he can keep. X

Congratulations! I tested without my hubby when I found out I was pregnant with our son. I'd got fed up of negatives, was cleaning the bathroom and thought i'd use the spare test up rather than leave it laying around! My hubby was upstairs and i wanted to find a nice way of telling him but i'm terrible at hiding anything! It was 9pm and after sitting next to him for 10 mins fit to burst I said "just fancy a trip to the supermarket love, need to get a few bits. Don't worry about coming with me, you stay and watch telly". I went to Asda, bought a decent test, bought a gift bag, tissue paper and a baby grow. When i came back i did another test just to make sure. I wrapped the babygrow in the paper then put in the bag. I called him into the room (while filming on my camera) and told him I'd bought him a present. He unwrapped it and you can see on the film the moment the penny drops - it's brilliant! xxx
What a great story! We'd been trying 2.5yrs with my 1st and when I finally got a positive test we were both getting ready for work-I ran downstairs stark naked and screaming to tell OH-luckily no one was looking through the windows at the time lol!
