It always depends on who you know and where you live. Its far too common for me, but I deliberately go for names out of the top 100 never mind top 10 lol!!!! I love the name, also love loads of the other common ones like Jack, Caitlyn, Rosie and lots of others but they are a no-no for us :( xxxx
Ohhh I know how you feel, so many names I love but can't use because of their popularity! I've loved Charlie for years and others like Harry for example are popping up all over the place these days..xx
I think it's def getting more popular but not too common yet. It's my dad's name and I've always loved it! It's been my preferred boy's name for years! The dilemma I now have is... my brother called his son Charlie 3 years ago but it is still both mine and my OH's fave boy name. So if we have a boy, do we still call him Charlie? Or is it stupid for both me and my brother to have a son with the same name?
I have the same problem, my stepsister named her son Rhys 2 years ago (even though I have always loved it I never would have said, she had her baby first!) and so now I feel like I can't use it :( I'd love to be able to say go for it if you like it but I know that feeling!!!
