what would a m/c look like at 5 weeks?

hi everyone, when i went to the toliet the other day there was like a little clear (maggot looking) thingy down the toliet.. it could of been discharge or even old loo roll.. but my boyfriend was upstairs so i quickly flushed the toliet this was about 4/5 days ago and i've had no pain or bleeding ect.. its just i thought i better ask?? all my pregnancy symptoms are still hear but it just freaked me out a little.. i didnt really get a proper look.. but like i say it looked just like a maggot?!?! xx

An early m/c generally looks like a period hun-anything like mucous at this stage is normal xxx

I agree with mummygriff hun , you would of needed to have had bleeding & cramps .. It's normal to have clumps of thick discharge in pregnancy so dont worry ..xx

I wouldn't worry hun. There's lots and lots of different types of discharge in early pregnancy. If your cervix had opened during a miscarriage you would have more than just the embryo, there would also be blood. If you aren't experiencing severe cramping/bleeding everything's looking positive :) But just mention to MW if you're concerned xxx
