Hi dear hope it helps, my daughter was the same, she was crying and she was feeling very uncomfortable although she was cleaned and fed well and same as you all people commenting me, but after a time I found out that all the crying was becoz she was not having enough sleep and she was getting overtired, so try your best to increase the hours she sleep, i am sure if she gets enough sleep she will be a happy baby coz i have experienced it with mine
Hi Sameera

We put her to bed after her feed at night about 7.30pm and she sleeps till 7.30 in the morning. Well I say sleep but we can hear on the baby monitor that she is always restless. We put a video camera in the room the other day that has infared vision and she was tossing and turning and putting her legs in the air and banging them down again and night long! She is very good though she never cries in the night she just tosses and turns and chats to herself then the majority of time when we go into her in the morning she's awake. No wonder she's grouchy in the day but no matter what I do I cant get her to sleep longer than 20 mins during the day! Have you got any tips on how to get her to sleep longer during the day.

Thanks
andrea

My baby is now 18 weeks old and cries alot and is very loud. I've read that babies that age are meant to sleep 12 hours during the night and have 2 to 3 naps during the day of about 2 hours. She only sleeps during the day 2 or 3 times but only 20 mins at a time and she won't settle back to sleep again. She also gets bored very easily I put her in her chair then after 20 mins she cries I play with her on her mat and again after 20 mins she cries. I've checked everything is ok i.e nappy, feeding etc. Also she is very, very loud. When I've been out people have commented and think that she in pain and I feel terrible it's like people think I'm hurting her and one person in the doctors surgery the other week made me really upset cause I couldn't stop her crying saying I was a bad mum and couldn't control my baby. I can't get anything done in the house as she always wants my attention. I've tried to leave her to cry but she just goes on and on and nothing will stop her till I pick her up! I didn't want to use a dummy but that seems the only thing to calm her down for a while till she spits it out! Any advice would be appreciated.
