I feel like I am overdressing my wee one now after reading your posts! She still goes to bed in vest, sleepsuit, a lightweight grow bag AND has blankets! She is never too warm though...she must just be a cold potato! Her hands are always freezing even if the room is warm.....any tips?

my daughter doesnt like going to bed in a sleepsuit. if she's cold then i put an extra blanket on her. my health visitor said that its normal because some babies like being free to move in their sleep, even tho they dont know they can move! and when she sleeps in the day she wont sleep for long unless i take her bottoms off. but anyone got any ideas how to stop her from wanting her dummie that much that when she's asleep and it falls out she screams?!

Ive started to put Katie-Star to bed in just a vest..Ok some people might not like the thought of just a vest but its alot easyer to warm her up then cool her down. Our bedroom is alot hotter in the morning with the sun pouring in. If she is hot when we put her down then no grobag but if she is bit colder then the grobag....my oldest Lucy wil go to bed in her pj's but i'll check her and she will be naked lol

Hi, I have been having the same worries too! glad Im not alone, my son Harry is going to bed in a shortsleeved baby gro, we used to put him in a Grobag, but my grobag room thermometer has been reading 25 degrees!! tried everything to cool it down, so just put one cellular blanket on him and thats it, would def rather him be cool that too hot!...x

my daughter is in her own room and even with the windows open during the day at the moment the room's still warm. I've got a grobag egg room thermometer which tells you the temperature and the egg changes colour depending on how warm the room is. During the day at the moment i put her to bed in a lightweight sleeping bag with a vest and t-shirt and at night in a vest, sleepsuit and lightweight sleeping bag. My problem is that Tilly still likes being swaddled so that's an extra layer.
Any ideas on how to stop the swaddling?
