Hi New to this group Poppy was due on the 8/8/8 but managed to arrive on the 31/7/8 just squeezed in here, only a 5hr labout 2hrs shorter than my first, so if i go for a third i think i should just live in the hospital for the last few weeks as i think we'll be lucky to last 3hrs. LOL.
hi all
it's nice to have a group for the july little ones :)
i had my baby girl salma on the 21st of july
congrats!!!! had a tiny little boy, Noah same day!!!! he was only 5lb 11oz....
My son was due on the 9th July and was born on the 14th July weighing 9lb13oz. I had a 3and a half hour labour and a home birth. An amazing experience
My experience is very similar, my baby was due on the 2nd July and my son was eventually born on the 13th the day before I was to be induced which was perfect as it meant that I could have the home waterbirth. Oscar was 9lb 8oz. You are lucky with the short labour mine was 12 hours.

Hi, I'm a first time expectant mum (24 weeks today!) I'm also a research psychologist very appropriately investigating postnatal wellbeing! I work at the Univerisity of Sussex and I'm currently running an online study looking at women's memories of the birth experience, so if you fancy taking part please click on the link below or copy it into your browser.

I've had approx 50 women participate so far & they have all said they enjoyed doing it & felt it was a great opportunity to put the events of the birth into perspective. I need approx another 450 women to take part, so please please please help me out. If you want to check out my research profile to confirm this is a legitimate study please either google me (search for Suzanne Foley, University of Sussex) or look me up on the University website:

Thanks to all of you who've taken part so far. To those of you who haven't, I still need a lot more participants so please please do have a look at the study:
