I am the mum to a 10 year old who has ADHD and a 1 year old baby girl. My family were very concerned with the way my son would react to a new arrival due to his ADHD-it's been very up and down but my son adores his sister (most of the time)! I knew my son had ADHD from him being about 6 months old but it took me 4 years before a specialist Dr agreed with me, it took another 2 years before my son was issued with medication and another few years trying out different doses and different types.
