My baby boy was born in June 08 weighing 9lb5. I am size 10 5"3 and my husband is not a big build and not too tall. I was SOOOOOO fed up of people commenting on what a big/huge/tall baby he was. I now look back at the clothes he wore as a newborn and don't ever feel that he was so small - in a way all of the comments those people made took away my memories of a little baby. Please everyone - ignore what people say - they are perfect to us and at least we don't have to worry about a malnourished baby ;-)

hi all all my children were big but not huge. 1st 8lb 7. 2nd 9lb 9. 3rd 10lb 1 and 4th 8lb 13. my last is a boy and is 7 weeks old and now weighs 16lb. its not like am over feeding him plus hes breast fed too. And he doesn't look fat just much older than he is more like 12 - 13 weeks old.

Hi, My baby girl was 9lb 2oz. I had no idea that she was so big as I was told that I didn't even look full term by friends & neighbours. She was 11 days late but once she decided to arrive the delivery was very quick. I started getting my first contractions (which went from none to 3-4 minutes apart) at midnight & gave birth by 5am.

Rebecca is now 17 weeks old & weighs almost 17lb. She is not fat but is very long & muscular (due to being such a fidget). She is at the top of average on all the charts in her red book.
