easy quick lasagne for babies from 8 months old
6-8 sheets lasagne
1 clove of garlic, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 packet Vegetarian Quorn Mince (can use meat instead)
4 tblsp tomato puree
1 tsp oregano/mixed herbs
salt & pepper (older children, adults can add at table)
little veg stock or water
8oz/22g cottage cheese
8oz/22g grated cheddar cheese
Preheat oven 180c, 350f gas mark 4
Saute onion, garlic for few minutes, add mince, tomatoes, herbs, salt and pepper, simmer 10 minutes. add a little water or stock if it gets too dry.
Put tomato mixture in bottom of lasagne dish, then cottage cheese, lasagne, grated cheese. Repeat till all ingredients used up. finish with grated cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is browned and bubbling. serve
