EARLY MORNING FEEDS!Created By davies77 on 04 June 2008

Hi, i'm mum to 13 wk old Cerys who is still not sleeping through the night, she has her last feed at 6.30pm and bed at 8.30pm and sleeps until 4am 5am , wakes for her feed and then sleeps until 7.30am. Any tips out there from lucky mums who's babies are sleeping all night?? she is now having 7oz bottles every 4 hours so she is feeding well, i've tried keeping her awake until 10pm but she can't stay awake that long - any ideas?

i would'nt worry too much if you are concerned just let your midwife no, but coz your contractions are only ever hour they might tell you not to worry anyway. i had a show the other day myself but i just let my midwife no and she said if i had any concerns to ring her or contact the labour suite it is my first baby too. hope everything goes ok julie xx

Hi, I'm also 35+ weeks and was having contractions every half hour the other day. It's good advice to speak to the midwife just in case things do pick up and it's the real thing, they'll be ready for you when you arrive. However, as I'm 35 weeks and didn't want the baby to be premature, the midwife suggested I soak in a warm tub which should slow the contractions as well as put my feet up!! Apart from soothing the pain it worked!! Everyone's different and has different medical history so the best advice you can get would be from your own midwife (and not from me!). Hope that helps and good luck for the big day!

I am 35 + 4 pregnant, head is in pelvis and baby seems to be facing the right way, I think my mucous plug has gone in the last 2 weeks, last night I have been experiencing uncomfortable contractions once an hour forcing me to get out of bed, not sure if its worth bothering the hospital at the moment, don't want to seem like I'm over reacting and feel silly! This is my 1st b baby. I also have -ve blood type, and probs wit my cervix, next antenatal appoinment not until next thurs with consultant.
