Hi, i am the same. I am 29 weeks and meant to be at the "blooming" stage but i really don't think there is such thing as "glowing or blooming" lol. I am so tierd alday and night. Today for instance i haven't got out of bed and it's 4 in the aftenoon. And a member of my family thought it was ok to tell me i look terrible the other day! I was so upset, i no i look like crap but i don't need telling it lol. I have gone on merternity leave already so i don't have to worry about work, which is nice.

Thank you Katye - everyone else I speak to says that I should be blooming and that I shouldn't be tired and you grin through it and think I'm shattered - I'm trying to do a lot less and this weekend is the first weekend in ages where I've not slept all Saturday and Sunday afternoon! Good luck with Number 2!
In my first pregnancy everyone kept saying the same thing to me 'you shouldn't be tired anymore and that i should be blooming'. It just makes you feel worse doesn't it!! Don't take any notice as everyone is different just try to rest as much as you can. I have started to feel tired again now (28 weeks) and just try to have a nap if i feel like i need it.

Hi Charlotte, you sound exhausted!! I am expecting my second baby, due 18th Jan, and have been ok this time. I was extremely tired with my first baby and like you slept a lot, probably nothing to worry about just your body adjusting. Good luck at check up and hope you feel better soon. Kayte

Hi - just new to this site and therefore I thought that I would share my concerns and see if anyone else was in the same state! My problem is that I am just SOOOOOOOOOOO tired all of the time - I have to sleep for at least 9 hours at night and have at least one or two long naps a day. I told the midwife and she just said that she would check my iron at 28 weeks but that I looked OK... "OK" doesn't help when I have to sleep in my car at lunchtime! (I'm due on 24th January 2009) Charlotte
