my daughter amelia is 5 months old and teething, she uses her dummy regularly and gets a lot of comfort from it. that would be all well and good, but she's gone from sleeping 7pm till 6.30am, to waking every time her dummy falls out! the obvious thing is to remove the dummy, but she's gets so much comfort from it and cries without it, anyone else experienced anything like this?? L :-)

My daughter is coming up three and still has her 'magic' ('cos it's magic) when she's upset and bedtime. We discovered that the darker coloured ones are easier for us and her to find in the low light of the night light. Now she sorts herself out and we get some glorious sleep. There are others available which glow in the dark but they're quite expensive, try a larger boots chemist, I'm sure you'll find them there. You could also try putting her thumb in instead as she's still very young. They adapt better at that age, and it will probably only take one sleepless night to adjust. Good luck!

My daughter has just started to do the same. Has anyone found an answer in the last year?
