My baby is 7 weeks now and i breastfeed her on demand like i was told in the hospital but it seems my milk doesnt satisify her,it can be half and hour or a hour after her feed she wants more, i have been expressing my milk to give my partner a chance to feed baby aswell so im getting around 3-4 oz but it just doesnt seem to satisfy her, the midwives said shes having a growth spert but all she does is feed at the mo any one got any suggestions about what it could be please ?

get your other half to do the feeding from a bottle, leave the room so she/he can't smell you. It's the confusion between the 2 smells that's the problem!!! Keep introducing a bottle at the same feed every day and eventually your baby will get the idea!!! This worked for my little girl who is now feeding solely from a bottle as I am going back to work!

im still breastfeeding my son who is now almost 8 months and dont want to stop but need some advse. he wakes up every hour/2hours during the night and i wondered if anybody elses baby does this? im so exhausted that im thinking about introducig a bottle before bed to see if he will sleep but am worried incase y milk drs up. if anyone has any tips i would really appreciate it thanks
Hi there, my son is now 10mths old and I also had the problem of him waking often for a feed. I introduced a bottle for the last feed at night so he had dinner, bath and then a bottle. This did mean that he slept through the night. I was lucky in the fact that he took to the bottle and we used the Avent air flex bottles. Is your son taking solids yet? As I found that from 6mths my boy was just so hungry all the time that when he started eating the feeds became more manageable.
