Hello. This is my first chat! Our daughter is 19 months and says a few words but not every time, and has built them up very slowly. She also isn't walking yet. We aren't generally concerned about her development as she seems fine and is so bright in many ways, she's easy, happy and content and is fully mobile apart from actually walking. Although 'wrong' to 'compare' we do look at home video of our son (now 6) when he was the same age, as a guide. The difference with us is that Anna has epilepsy. That's another whole subject I won't go into here. We don't know why and it's been a whole new world for us but what is unusual is that so far she has no other conditions so we have a happy healthy normal girl, but with epilepsy. So I'm very happy for people to step forward please and help me do some 'comparing' as to what your 19 month olds are and aren't doing yet!
