Hi all, ive recently found out im 5 weeks pregnant, and funnily enough, although ive been through this before and already have a 5 year old daughter, im so worried this time, ive done 2 tests, but like all of you, i want my scan to confirm it! The only symptom ive got is back ache, but even thats on and off - i had a very easy pregnancy with my daughter and again had very few symptoms, but i can't help panicking! I want my scan!!!!!

I know how you feel! You know you are pregnant but you have no proof of it! With my son we went for a private scan at about 7 weeks and it was only when I saw the heartbeat that i believer it. Don't know whether thats something you could do (it cost us £50) but it did reassure me. I think we are going to tell our parents but am sturggling not to tell anyone else, even though I know its sensible to wait!
Are you planning on having a private scan this time?
I'm just finiding it hard being patient! I'm trying to relax but i keep wondering what if the home preg kits weren't right-although i took 3 and all were positive! Anyway, hope ur well.x

Hi, i'm Jo. I found out 2 days ago that i am 4 weeks pregnant. My GP doesn't confirm pregnancies so i have to wait for my midwife appt at 9 weeks. Although i've had 3 positive pregnancy tests im finding it difficult to believe that i am actually pregnant. I've had to tell all the managers at work that i am pregnant for safety reasons, want to tell the family but like all of you i want to wait until 12 week scan. I'm finding all this quite surreal and scary at the moment, and my partner doesn't want to get too excited until we've at least seen the midwife so im feeling abit confused too!.

Hi! I am 5 weeks now and have known for a week, although I was fairly sure before that! I am desperate for a scan as don't really want to tell anyone before that. Consultant has told me they will check for heart beat at 8 weeks but no ultrasound until 12 weeks - a lifetime away!
Hi congratulations. Im 10 weeks now, had a scan at 6 weeks as had a bit of spotting but luckily all was well. Im still counting the days til my 12 week scan. Time seems to go soooo slowly. At least if u start to feel sick its a nice reassurance. That sounds odd but whenever I feel ill it makes me a bit happier that baby is ok xxx
