I've just had an appointment at the ivf clinic, wasn't sure I was going to be able to fit it around my holiday, but luckily the dates just worked out. More blood tests(big bruise) and an internal scan. It was ok but now have to wait 3-4wks before I get an app date and that's likely to be in Nov-why does it take so long! xc

Hi all. I'm Amanda

I am on my 3rd cycle of clomid this time round.
I have been on and off treatment for 10 1/2 years now.
I have conceaved 4 times but sadly lost our frist baby boy not long after birth and have had a mc and a mmc this year.
We have a beautiful 26month old boy.

I havn't been ov till cd 28 so far so i'm hopeing this month things may change and ov when i should on cd21. Even though the hospital have said as long as i do ov it doesn't matter when. it would be nice to ov when i should.

Hi, we have recently gone through our 2nd IVF attempt and unfortunately I had a very early miscarriage. We have been very lucky though, as our 1st attempt resulted in our beautiful daughter who is now 20 months. We are hoping to start our 3rd attempt in May as we would love to have a brother or sister for our little girl. I agree with branchingout that you can cope with anything if you want something this bad. It's not just the physical side, you also have to prepare yourself mentally in case things don't work out (you can get very emotional with all those hormones inside you). This is a huge journey and everyone will have to find their own way as there are so many variables of tests and then treatments. I found it really helped that my partner was involved with the practical things (went to all appts with me and prepared the injections) and also that we talked a lot. Hope all goes well for you PunkyPookie and wishing everyone good luck.

Hi everyone so glad i came across this group, we have been trying for a year now. we have had all the blood tests i can have all clear I have had an internal scan and ultrasound scan again both clear I have got an appointment 9th june to have hycosy where they will inject dye up through my cervix to see if i have any blockages if that comes back ok god knows what they will decide next. has anyone else had this if so what was it like?? and does anyone know what they will do next if we get the all clear its a really scary time but at least we feel we are making sime sort of progress. xxx
Hi i've been trying 22mnths, and recently had HSG. I found it a bit painful, but didn't bleed after, and the pain only lasted for a minute or two. They tell you the results straight away which is good. I then had more blood tests(or tried to they had 6 attempts and gave up so have to go back on friday). I then have an app at the end of the month to discuss all the results. xc
