Hi, my son is now 2 weeks and 4 days, I understand exactly where you are coming from. I left him with hubby on saturday to get my haircut - only away for an hour but felt like an eternity and couldn't stop worrying, also texting hubby to see if alrite - hubby didnt reply though - must have thought i was underminding him or something. I was brave today thought and left him to sleep in his moses basket whilst I put some washing out, though I did go back to keep check he was still breathing. I wouldn't worry to much I think it must just be a natural response, I've never felt this way with other children and I suppose it may well be different if I had another,I think it is probably quite healthy though to worry that he/she is okay - after all we get fed so much information about cot deaths and stuff it does tend to leave you feeling a little anxious. I dont have a baby yet so I dont know, but i think u need to stop worrying. Im sure shes fine.
