I've been reading on the signs of when baby is ready to eat puree food and think he is showing them, but at the moment my LO is constipated and having to drink watered down prune juice. Off to see the docs on Friday as she was on holiday this week. My Aunt and Uncle in Scotland bought us a Chicco highchair for us so we're ready for when he's 6 months and feeding with us, so exciting!
Oh, poor little nugget, hope it helps and he goes soon:). Maia has not been for 9 days few weeks back, but i've been told by hv that as she's breastfed, it's nothing to worry about. But u do anyway, thinking it must be quite uncomfy for them. We had another night of feeding every hour and few times she didn't take any milk and just wanted the boobie for comfort. She has a dummy to fall asleep with but won't take it in the middle of the night..i might start giving her some water instead and see what happens. I can just imagine :)). We've got a highchair ready too and can't wait to use it. I went out to buy her some new pyjamas as she outgrew hers and looked at 6-9month size, it's huge, i thought she will never be that big:))))
Had a look at some of your pictures and Max is sooo cute :), i must put some on too.

Hello Sarka! How old is Maia? My name is Helen and have a son called Alex, he's 18 weeks old now and been super good when comes to bed time and some days will sleep through the night without trouble, either I've done something right or I was blessed with an angel for a son!
My partner and I have always said we'd have 2 children and after the experience so far with Alex (although the teething has been a nightmare and I know it's gonna get worse!) I could actually see myself having maybe even another 2! I've actually had so much joy with my first one and wouldn't mind going through the pain of labour again or the screaming into my ear or even the soreness you get from the first few weeks of breastfeeding. Those things are nothing compared to the wonderful things my first child has brought into our lives. :)
Hi,
I'm so glad someone's one here. Last post 2months ago, so i thought i'll give it a try anyway :).
Maia is 19weeks, 20 on saturday. She's great, going to sleep no problem (well it took us 2weeks to teach her how to fall asleep on her own rather than mummys arms), but she doesn't sleep through, she use to sleep 6hour stretch at night, feed and sleep another 6, but we're back to feeding sometimes even 4times a night. Not sure if it's teeth or she's just got use to having a boobie at night. She's also starting pooping a lot more, so maybe the teeth(sorry- too much info:).
I love being a mummy, isn't it great? I'd love 2more, but can't imagine doing all this with another little one or two!! around. Im sure it's easy when it comes and u get your head around it all, just like the first ones:)
Just been reading about baby led weaning, have you thought of what are u going to do? She still seems quite settled with her milk, so no rush and hoping to wait as close to 6months as possible. Just like to be prepared:))
