Hi i was due on 5th October with my second child!! Been having period like pains on and off for the last week or so but always turns into nothing. I was induced with my first child after 10 days and wasn't that bad managed to get 7cm on my own before going to labour ward and having him an hour and a half later with no pain relief!! Really didn't want to be induced again as not planning anymore children, so a little gutted as i go in on Sunday (17th), would have liked to experience going into labour naturally. Good luck with your natural birth!! x

Had some warm-up contractions this morning but nothing now. Thanks for reply. I really want to do this naturally whatever the consequences!! (may be mad!)
You are right to be proud, I felt I'd missed out with my section.

Hey you, if you haven't already had the baby, good luck! I am a successful VBAC with a 5 week old boy. Doing it the old fashioned way (gas and air) was definitely more rewarding than the surgery route. While labour seems a bit of a pain while you're going through it, it doesn't really seem that bad in hindsight. I've been a bit unlucky with some other complications afterwards (prolapsed womb & separated tummy muscles due to a big baby), its not problems that most people have and I'm still really proud that I managed it on my own.

Hello! Second baby due Oct 10th. No sign yet. Had a section 1st time around but going for the VBAC this time...eeek! Am having mild period type pains on and off for the last 3 days but no "show". Worried about being induced :-( How about you?
