Being a toddler is all about your child asserting his independence and hitting more important milestones over the next year or so such as walking, talking and potty-training. He'll assert himself through the usual toddler tantrums and he'll be desperate to use 'grown-up' objects like telephones, toothbrushes, knives and forks. Soon you'll be having a mini conversation with your toddler! Despite his independent streak, he'll still have time for plenty of stories and cuddles with mum and dad and he'll continue to amuse and fascinate you constantly.
