BT Baby Monitor Pacifier

In a Nutshell
BT has a fine reputation for baby monitors and this new range-topping model shows why. Despite being audio-only, the Pacifier is festooned with gadgetry, and is a strong performer.

Features
This bad boy offers every trick in the book, and then some. It’ll project a moving light show of cartoon stars onto a nearby wall and the nightlight changes colour as room temperature alters. The receiver has a built-in torch and you can connect your own audio source to the child unit.

Practicality
BT boasts about its baby monitors having HD sound and, in tests, reception was clearer than the competition. It also delivered the best range, at roughly 50m.

Wow Factor
The adjustable wall-projections are pretty cool. But equally impressive was the sound quality of the lullabies. Baby may well become overly dependent on this sound-and-light show.

Nit-picking
The music feature is tricky to control, and the sheer wealth of features and buttons could intimidate the less tech-savvy.
