Kiddy Guardian Pro 2

In a Nutshell
Kiddy pioneered the idea of seats that employ an impact-shield cushioned insert rather than a five-point harness (see panel) and its models have largely proven best in tests.

Features
Bubba can stay in a Guardian Pro until he is approximately
12 years old, as it expands in width and height. This seat
is seatbelt-only, which
is fine, but the Isofix version
is currently being updated.

Practicality
The Kiddy is simple to install and, at 7kg, no trouble to move between cars. There are four breathable fabric options and the snug headrest gives great support for tired little troopers.

Wow Factor
Due to this seat’s
longevity, you’ll be glad
that its fabrics are all easily replaceable. Other optional accessories include a
water-based colouring pad that clips onto the safety cushion.

Nit-picking
Some children simply won’t accept an impact shield, so try before you buy and do ensure the seatbelt tension is correct. The Kiddy’s modest recline can’t be altered with junior in it.
