Mammut Cot

Mammut Cot

In a Nutshell
If you want to stand out from the crowd but don’t want to spend a fortune, this funky-looking cot could be the one for you – it offers modern design at an affordable price.

There’s a choice of two colours – this bright, bold blue and a rather sweet pink. The base has two height settings and one of the sides can be removed when your child is old enough to get in and out of bed on their own.

As with most things you buy from Ikea, you have to construct this cot yourself. That said, the assembly instructions are fairly simple to follow, and if you lose them you can download them from their website.

Wow factor
You only have to glance at it to know this would certainly create a buzz. At a time when almost all nursery furniture comes in neutral colours, the Mammut offers a bit
of cartoonish individuality. Other furniture is also available in the range

There are no drop sides, so it’s not ideal for the shorter mum. And no teething rails either.
