Nscessity BabyBay Bedside Crib

In a Nutshell
Cosy sleeping platform that clamps onto the side of an adult bed so mummy and baby may safely lie in close proximity.

Features
This is, essentially, a large crib with one open side that may be securely attached onto most wooden beds, and its height adjusted so the mattresses are flush and baby is fed more easily. It can later be adapted into a highchair, bench seat, desk or even a playpen.

Practicality
An elegant way to sleep close to your little one without worrying about rolling onto them. It’s fairly straightforward to set up, so long as your bed is compatible, and surprisingly sturdy too. A side rail (£45) converts it into a crib.

Wow Factor
Other mums will just melt when they see how this allows you to snuggle up with your bambino right next to you in the parental bed yet also tucked away in his own secure sleeping space.

Nit-picking
This is little larger than a crib and so the suggested nine month’s usage is optimistic. It requires a bespoke mattress (£35) and the accessories for conversion into other items are a bit pricy – £55 for the high chair kit, for instance.
