Britax B-Agile

In a Nutshell
A featherweight, four-wheeled buggy that is both highly manoeuvrable and compact, albeit still surprisingly spacious for a large toddler. Britax offers optional matching carrycots or car seats.

Features
The infinitely adjustable seat reclines easily to a near-flat position and its harness height can be swiftly adjusted. The huge hood has a zip-out extension, plus a handy rear storage pocket.

Practicality
At 8kg, it is easy to hoik up stairs and is far from Spartan for your little soldier, due to plush red or black fabrics and clever ventilation. Large rear
wheels help on gravel, but it’s no off-roader.

Wow factor
The cool, one-handed fold mechanism also automatically locks the chassis, ready to fling the whole thing into a car. Equally impressive is how easily it unfolds – ideal for the urban jungle.

Nit-picking
To have baby facing the rear, you must buy the Click and Go carrycot (£130) which adds to the price, as do various Britax accessories including a bumper bar (£15) or cosytoes (£40).
