Mountain Buggy +One

In a Nutshell
If you ever need to navigate a pushchair on a muddy towpath you’ll instantly appreciate why a Mountain Buggy is the ultimate off-roader.

Features
Both child seats are supplied as standard, as is a small sleeping bag for newborns. The carrycot (£169) and car seat adaptors (£29) are both additional options. The rear seat can face two ways.

Practicality
The huge hood has two zip-out extensions and the basket is massive, too. This does, however, reduce in size once the pram converts to double mode, which is a faff to do.

Wow Factor
The three pneumatic wheels and posh suspension of this sophisticated pushchair help it to glide over shingle beaches, and prove surprisingly nippy in town, too.

Nit-picking
The +One’s only colour option is black. It’s no featherweight, yet, at 13.5kg, no back-breaker either. The seats don’t recline all that much and the rear one has just two positions including flat.
