Fun family days out in and around London

Sea Life London Aquarium

The Gentoo Penguins can be seen at Sea Life London Aquarium, where twice daily they will be receiving a colourful selection of egg-shaped icy treats. Guests at feeding time will see the team of aquarists place the brightly coloured 'eggs' in the enclosure, each stuffed with the penguins' favourite food of sprats and herring.

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

Pirates Landing has become new Pirate Shores. Featuring Castaway Camp - a new pirate adventure play area, more than 100 brand new LEGO® models and themed features on the Pirate Falls Treasure Quest log flume ride, plus a new themed restaurant, the rollicking Jolly Rocker Pirate Ship ride and Pirate Goldwash.

Chessington World of Adventures

Chessington World of Adventures is a great day out for all the family as you have the choice of Chessington theme park with rides catering from toddlers up to the braver older child. There is also Chessington Zoo where you can be face to face with exotic and endangered animals. There is also the Sea Life centre and live shows happening throughout the day.

Natural History Museum

Children can get up close to a terrifying T. Rex and find out how baby dinosaurs were born. They can visit Investigate, the hands-on science centre (for 7+) and touch geological specimens in the Earth Lab. Under-sevens will love the free-to-borrow Explorer Backpacks, which contain a safari hat, binoculars, drawing materials and an activity booklet. Choose from topics including birds, mammals, monsters, oceans and nature.

Rainforest Cafe

The Rainforest Cafe is located in Piccadilly Circus, and is a unique and vibrant restaurant bringing together the sights and sounds of the jungle that all little ones will love. The cafe has a collection of moving animatronics, waterfalls and tropical fish tanks which really brings the jungle theme to life. Food is kid-friendly and is a great trip out for the whole family.

ZSL London Zoo

A visit to ZSL London Zoo can include being a keeper for a day, you can take part in a photography workshop or have a VIP animal encounter. There are daily animal talks, feeds and demonstrations and you can choose from a variety of places to eat once you're in there.
