August means Kids Week, where children go free to more than 40 London shows across the city. So what's available for little ones?

From 1-31 August a child under 16 can get into a selection of London shows for free, and two additional children can go at half price, as long as they are accompanied by an adult paying full price. There are more than 40 top London shows this summer to choose from, so what's a mum to choose for her tots? We picked out the shows that you and your little ones will love.

Aliens Love Underpants

Based on the best-selling children's book, aliens love underpants – but there are no underpants in space! This hilarious and action-packed stage adaptation has amazing effects, original music – and of course, an abundance of undies.

Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom

Together they live in the Little Kingdom, a tiny land where every day is an adventure.

The Gruffalo

The Three Little Pigs

Will they be able to stand on their own four trotters and outwit the Big Bad Wolf? West End stars from The Lion King, The Book of Mormon, Hairspray and Sister Act, as well as Blue star Simon Webbe, join forces for this brand new family musical.
